You weren’t meant to just get through life.
Make life work for you.
A.M.L. Counseling & Wellness is a North Carolina-based virtual counseling and wellness practice founded by Asya M. Little, LCMHCA. Explore individual therapy, trauma-informed yoga, and community experiences designed to support mental health and everyday well-being.
Hi, I'm Asya!
I’m a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in NC and the founder of A.M.L. Counseling & Wellness.
I'm a therapist, but I'm also someone with interests, responsibilities, relationships, and goals outside of my profession. I believe the same is true for the people I work with. We're multifaceted, and the ways we care for ourselves should reflect that.
That's part of what inspired the vision behind A.M.L. I wanted to create a practice that makes room for mental health, movement, community, and the different parts of life that contribute to our well-being.
AUTHENTICITY
Who are you?
Getting to know yourself means looking beyond the roles you've filled, the expectations you've carried, and the ways you've learned to show up for others. Authenticity begins with developing a better understanding of your thoughts, emotions, needs, and what feels true to you.
The Meaning Behind A.M.L.
MEANING
What matters to you?
Your experiences shape how you see yourself and the world around you. Finding meaning involves making sense of those experiences, practicing acceptance without necessarily approving of what happened, and recognizing the values, relationships, and priorities that matter most to you.
LIVING PURPOSEFULLY
How do you want to live?
Understanding yourself is one thing. Figuring out what to do with what you're learning is another. Living purposefully means turning that understanding into action through the choices, habits, and changes that help you build a life that reflects who you are and what you want.
